The Underhill Family Orchestra is a rowdy, enthusiastically heart-felt rock n’ roll band from Mobile, AL. We’re proud to announce that they’ll be taking the mainstage at Fifth & Thomas on Tuesday, April 11th!

A harmonious group of crazies from the Alabama Delta, The Underhill Family are known for their face paint-wearin’, arm-swingin’, foot-stomping’, aggressively catchy take on southern pop and their spirited live performances. Reminiscent of the Avett Brothers, Fleetwood Mac and Escondito, the Underhill Family Orchestra is guaranteed to keep you dancing and smiling all night long.

In the year 2010, the year automobiles were to give way to laser cars and skateboards to jetpacks, we instead received Pinterest, the J-Lo collection, and The Underhill Family Orchestra (the formers herein excluded). A harmonious group of crazies from the Alabama Delta, The Underhill Family are known for their face paint-wearin’, arm-swingin’, foot-stomping’, aggressively catchy take on southern pop and their spirited live performances. Moonlighting in cities across the us for the last 6 years, from Denver to Pittsburgh to Austin to Orlando, the Orchestra has crafted two albums (This Is… 2011 & Stories of Appalachia Proper 2014) documenting their unique sound and take on american music.
